This month saw our team engaging in a number of internal debates centred around current cases. These discussions continue to be an invaluable tool for refining our strategy, testing our logic and exploring various approaches to complex cost disputes. By challenging one another constructively, we strengthen both our technical knowledge and our ability to deliver thorough, well considered advice to clients.
Focused Feedback: Supporting Individual Development
In keeping with our commitment to continuous professional growth, every team member received detailed feedback this month based on their recent performance and contributions. These one-to-one sessions offered an opportunity to celebrate strengths, identify areas for refinement and align individual development with long term goals. Streamlining Our Systems
Our internal Plug & Play session gave the full team a practical, hands on refresher in the key software tools we use every day. As our case management and cost drafting processes evolve, we remain committed to ensuring that our team
is confident and equipped with the knowledge to use our systems effectively and efficiently.
Fixed Costs Training Day
This past week, we hosted a dedicated Fixed Costs Training Day, providing a comprehensive update on key regulatory changes, best practices and strategic approaches. With fixed recoverable costs continuing to reshape how legal services are delivered, sessions like this are crucial for ensuring our team, and our clients, stay ahead of the curve.
Celebrating 10 Years with Peter Hickey
A special congratulations goes to Peter Hickey, who celebrates his 10th year with County Cost Consultants this month. As a Senior Costs Lawyer, Peter has consistently demonstrated outstanding expertise, leadership and professionalism. His dedication to client service and mentoring fellow colleagues has played a vital role in the firm’s growth over the past decade. We thank him for his continued commitment, undeniable Irish charm and humour filled one liners! We look forward to many more years of success together.
